Quick start

From nothing to applying, in about fifteen minutes

Seven steps, once: connect your chat app, open the broker account, create its API keys, switch on TOTP and DDPI, add it to TredX and choose filters. After that, applying to an IPO is a checkbox.

Your setup

checking…
  • Chat app connected
  • Broker account added
  • Broker account connected
  • Subscription active
  • An account on Paper or Live, with a filter

Steps 2 to 6 are once per broker account — six family accounts is six passes, and six is the point, for reasons the FAQ explains. This page keeps your place: tick a step when you finish it, and the ones TredX can see for itself (your chat app, accounts, subscription and automation) tick themselves.

What happens on an issue's last day

  1. 14:30 — a preview of what 14:45 is about to do.
  2. 14:45 — TredX bids for every Live account whose filters match and messages you each mandate reference.
  3. Before the bank's cut-off — approve the UPI mandate in your payments app, but only when its reference matches the message.
  4. 20:00 — your day's summary, then your allotment chances: minimum lots on offer against the applications made. Jio's retail was about 7 in 10, though it was "only" 2.76 times subscribed.
  5. Allotment day — every account's result, as soon as the registrar publishes it.

A live application still needs you. TredX places the bid; your bank sends a UPI mandate to your phone and nothing is confirmed until you approve it there. Approve only mandates whose reference number matches the one TredX sent to your chat app — see the FAQ.
