Terms of service

The agreement between you and TredX for use of this service. Plain language on purpose — if a clause here is unclear, that is a fault worth reporting rather than a subtlety worth exploiting.

1 · Who these terms are with

"TredX", "we" and "us" mean tredx.in, which operates this service at ipo.tredx.in. "You" means the person who signs in and uses the service.

Using the service means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.

2 · What the service is

TredX is software that connects to your own broker accounts and, on your instruction, submits applications to public issues. It also shows publicly available information about those issues and checks allotment results with registrars.

It is a tool. Specifically, it is not:

  • a broker, exchange, depository or registrar;
  • a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing it displays is investment advice or a recommendation;
  • a custodian of money or securities — we hold neither at any point.

3 · Who may use it

You must be 18 or over, legally capable of contracting in India, and the lawful holder of every broker account you connect.

Connect an account only if it is yours, or if its holder has asked you to and knows what you are doing on their behalf. Applying on someone's PAN without their knowledge is fraud, and it is your fraud, not ours.

4 · What you are responsible for

  • Every application submitted from your accounts, whether you pressed the button or the scheduler did it under settings you chose.
  • Approving or rejecting the UPI mandate your bank sends. Nothing is confirmed until you do. Approve a mandate only when its reference matches the one TredX sent to your chat app — see the FAQ.
  • Keeping the account you sign in with — Telegram, WhatsApp or Google — secure. Whoever controls it controls this.
  • The accuracy of what you enter, and having enough funds for the applications you authorise.
  • Your own tax position. We do not withhold, report or advise on tax.

5 · Credentials

To act on your behalf, the service stores the broker credentials you give it — including API keys and the TOTP seed. They are encrypted at rest and are never displayed back to you or to anyone else.

You may remove an account at any time, which deletes its credentials. Removing an account is available whether or not you have an active subscription — we will not hold keys to an account you have asked us to let go of.

No system is perfectly secure. Giving software your broker credentials carries risk, and you accept that risk knowingly by doing so.

6 · Data

We store what the service needs: your Telegram, WhatsApp or Google identity, profile details you enter, encrypted broker credentials, PANs you save for allotment checks, and records of applications and payments.

PAN is sensitive personal data. It is used only to query registrars for allotment on your instruction, and is never sold, shared for advertising, or disclosed except where the law requires it.

Deleting your account is a soft delete: records are retained for our own books and legal obligations, and signing in again restores access. Ask if you want data erased outright and we will do what the law requires of us.

A PAN you add to a broker account is stored encrypted and used only to look up that account's IPO allotment with the registrar. Remove it from the account at any time; the Saved PANs list is yours to delete.

7 · Third-party information

Grey-market premium, subscription figures, issue dates and allotment results come from brokers, registrars and public websites we do not control. They may be delayed, incomplete or simply wrong, and they change without notice.

We make no warranty about any of it and you should not treat it as authoritative. The registrar and your broker are the record.

8 · Availability

The service depends on broker APIs, registrar websites, Telegram, WhatsApp and the internet. Any of them can be down, rate-limited or changed at an hour's notice, and an application window does not extend because of it.

We do not guarantee uptime, and we do not guarantee that any particular application will be submitted successfully or in time. If it matters to you, check that it went through.

9 · No guarantee of allotment or profit

Allotment in an oversubscribed issue is a draw. Nothing here improves the odds of any single application; more accounts means more entries, which is arithmetic, not an outcome.

Shares can list below their issue price. Applying to public issues can lose you money, and this software makes it easier to do more of it — which cuts both ways.

10 · Subscription and payment

Prices are as shown on the pricing page, plus applicable taxes. A coupon reduces the price by its stated percentage for the period it is applied to.

A subscription runs for the period bought and then ends. A subscription whose coupon renews it does so at the coupon's price; if the coupon is disabled or expires, it does not renew. You can stop the renewal yourself at any time, and access continues to the end of the period you already have. You can also cancel outright from your profile: access ends at once, and you may subscribe again later — with a coupon if you have one — as a new subscription.

When a subscription ends, broker accounts and their credentials are preserved and locked rather than deleted, and become usable again on resubscription.

Refunds are not automatic. Write to us and we will deal with it reasonably.

11 · What you may not do

  • Use another person's PAN, demat or bank account without their knowledge and consent.
  • Submit duplicate applications on one PAN to game an allotment.
  • Share, resell or automate access to the service on behalf of people who are not your own connected account holders.
  • Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits.

We may suspend or end access for any of these, and the consequences with the exchange or the registrar are yours.

12 · Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, missed allotments, losses on shares, or losses caused by broker, registrar, bank or network failure.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim — which, if you are on a full-discount coupon, is nothing.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud.

13 · Changes

These terms and the prices may change. Material changes will be told to you through the service or in your chat app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.

14 · Governing law

Indian law governs these terms, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

15 · Contact

The channels in the footer reach us, as does tredx.in. For anything about your own account, message TredX in the chat app you signed in with — it already knows who you are, which saves both of us establishing it.
